  5.    NOTE: This disk contains some of the new material that was presented
  6. on the ComputerExpo Show Disk, in April.  There are however many newer
  7. programs on this disk.
  8.  
  9. MacView 1.2:  This is the latest version of Scott P. Evernden's Macintosh
  10. file viewing utility.  This version includes the ability to load IFF
  11. pictures and save them in MacPaint format.  It also includes a print
  12. utility, which allows partial or full printing.  Three sample pictures
  13. are included: MoonLighting, WhiteHouse, and Madonna.
  14.  
  15. Convert_64: This collection of three programs allows you to convert
  16. Commodore 64 programs, in Doodle, Koala, and PrintShop Screen Magic
  17. format to IFF Amiga files.  The hard part of course is transferring
  18. the files, which can be done by modem or by Disk-To-Disk.
  19.  
  20. Convert_Apple:  This program, by Brian Conrad, converts Apple hires,
  21. lo-res, etc. Apple pictures to Amiga IFF format.  Again, modem
  22. transfers are at present the only way to get Apple pictures on your
  23. Amiga.

  25. Convert_ST:  This program will take Atari ST Degas and Neochrome pictures
  26. and convert them into IFF format.  Modem must be used to transfer the
  27. files to Amiga disk format.

  29. Blitz:  This Shareware program by Hayes Haugen is a high-speed text
  30. viewing utility.  This program is incredibly fast!!!  Take a look
  31. for yourself!
  32.  
  33. BlitzFonts:  Another Shareware offering of Hayes Haugen.  This one
  34. speeds up text output in almost any program.  It works with TextCraft,
  35. AmigaBASIC(!!) and other programs that output text, and gives you
  36. a dramatic speed increase.

  38. MouseClock:  This nifty little clock program turns your pointer into
  39. a clock, always handy, always there!!  Full source code is included,
  40. to see it use the CLI.  Author: John Huffman.

  42. BigView: This program allows you to view an IFF picture.  The neat
  43. part is that if it's an interlace picture, you are shown it in lo-
  44. res, with the screen scrolling to show you the other parts of the
  45. picture.  The smooth scrolling effects can give you the illusion of
  46. watching TV!  Two sample files are included, "Marilyn" and "Sample_PIC".

  48. ChangeKickStart:  A MUST for your WorkBench disk!  This program allows
  49. you to change KickStart versions without turning your machine on and
  50. off.  Very useful and it will save wear and tear on your machine.

  52. EBS_DemoFonts:  Included are 5 screens of sample fonts.  These are
  53. really nifty looking fonts.  There are two samples that you can use
  54. in your own programs, or in DPaint for example.  To install them,
  55. type:

  59. From the CLI with EBS_DemoFonts as the current directory.
